Help the Prairie Village Arts Council "Pave the Patio"

PV Arts Council LogoThe Prairie Village Community Center on the Municipal Campus is a popular place. To enhance the Community Center's appearance, a brick patio was installed several years ago. But just plain bricks make for a boring patio. So the Prairie Village Arts Council started an initiative to replace the plain bricks with engraved ones containing names of individuals and organizations in the community.

Paving the Community Center patio is a fundraising project for the Prairie Village Arts Council. Funds raised through brick sales will be used to offset the costs of engraving and installing the bricks, and enhancing and expanding arts programs in the community. Through the Pave the Patio Project, residents, businesses, civic organizations, and others can purchase personalized bricks.

Brick prices begin at $35 for individuals and $100 for corporate donors.  A portion of the cost is tax deductible.

New bricks are installed each June, and the project will continue as long as space remains in the patio. Once the bricks are installed, the City will perform routine maintenance on the patio, but will not repair or replace engraved bricks if they are damaged through normal wear and tear.

Bricks Make the Perfect Gift!

What do you give the man or woman who has everything? A brick! When developing the Pave the Patio Project the Prairie Village Arts Council had gifts in mind. When placing your brick order, simply check the "Gift Certificate" box and you will receive, along with your order confirmation, a certificate to present to friends and family.
