How do I reserve a park pavilion or meeting room?



Park Pavilions

Pavilions Picnic structures in City Parks may be reserved throughout the year for use between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. for a maximum of six hours. See a complete Prairie Village parks listing. Download the Park Pavillion Reservation Form.  Please submit a copy of your driver's license with your reservation request to verify Prairie Village residency and reserve at resident rates.

The following Parks have pavilions available for reservation:

Harmon Park/Harmon Pavilion - 77th Place and Delmar

Harmon Park/Santa Fe Pavilion - 7727 Delmar

Meadowlake Park - 2900 West 79th Street

Windsor Park
- 71st Terrace & Windsor

Bennett Park - 77th Street & Rosewood

Porter Park
- Tomahawk & Roe

Meeting Rooms

The meeting room in the Prairie Village Community Center may also be reserved for meetings, parties, or other special events.

To Reserve a Meeting Room

1) Complete a written application prior to the date of use. Download the Community Center Reservation Permit Form .  Please submit a copy of your driver's license with your reservation request to verify Prairie Village residency.  To view the community center calendar for available dates and times click here and then select reserve and then view facilities.

Applications are also available at the City Clerk's Office in the Municipal Building, 7700 Mission Road.

2) Reservations will be acknowledged by receipt of a copy of the approved application. This receipt should be taken to the community center the day of the reservation to verify your reservation of the facility.

3) Clean-up of the premises shall be done by the group using the facility. The sponsor is responsible for the actions of their group. The City is not responsible for lost or stolen articles or accidents.

If you plan on having alcohol at the community center, you must fill out the application for the alcohol permit and pay the $50 fee.
